This vase is hand thrown on a potter’s wheel. The sides of the pot are carved into a fluted design. Paul uses a chop mark, a maker’s mark used to sign the work, that becomes part of the beautiful surface texture. It is then bisque fired and glazed. After glazing the pot is wood-fired. This adds beauty to the surfaces of the jar. The vase is 11” high and 5.25” wide. The stand adds an additional 4”.
